In your post you directly referred to Ayu and her husband, and said you think it's emasculating and something a rich widows toy boy would do. Just for your knowledge: the reason why women were adopting the last name of their husband was (and somehow still is) that women were the property of their fathers but with marriage they became the property of their husbands. People just think it's emasculating because by adopting their wifes last name men show that they give a fuck about traditional maculinity and gender roles and that they don't need to be the head of their household.

Eeerrrr, no. Again, I wrote she/he because I didn't knew and I also wasn't assuming anything. You don't need to be "some sweaty guy sitting behind a computer screen" to be sexist. An average normal girl can be as sexist as everyone else. And anyone who would be serious about women's rights wouldn't find it emasculating if a man adopts the name of his wife.

Sexism NEVER is a harmless subject.
But if other women I just know from a forum, and therefore just by a few posts they wrote, like conservative norms for themselves which I consider sexist I would never tell them to change their lifes or to feel different about this subject. As long as they aren't generalizing anything and just talk about themselves it's totally fine with me. Neither emi nor happyholic were generalizing and just speaking for themselves - in contrast to you.
