Previous thread is full so here I'm starting a new one and i wanted to share something. Recently I showed to 2 close people of mine clips from Premium Showcase meaning "Whatever", "Connected" and "Angel (with Adagio for A). Earlier in the past 2 years together we managed to watch quite a number of Ayu's concerts cause i know that they always found sth entertaining and nice. Generally the most favourite concerts of them are Power of Music, Arena 2010, Arena 2005, Premium Countdown - those more or less. But after showing mentioned videos from this year's live i heard quite harsh comments like:

- whatever: "What a horrible arrangement" to which i replied that it's original one, then i was presented original file and i don't find it that different to say that suddenly it's horrible. And it was complained that it was missing original intro. I obviously would much more prefer original intro rather than "feel the love" but again, i don't find it as sth wow bad. Generally the whole performance was yuck cause of bad arrangement
- angel: "The song is boring, i learned its lyrics during first minutes, 2 lines of text, very plain, heard much better songs of her". Well personally i agree, also because angel was extended for the performance. I commented that this performance is more to be visually appealing cause she trained and did nicely those basic moves in the air. To that i was told that: "It's not a circus but music concert", "It's birtney - it's circus", "I'm not impressed".
- generally also they described her current status as being in the void when it comes to music production, i heard that Ayumi can create very nice and original songs like "Will" for instance and things that are shockingly bad. Really, he used such expression and i won't hide that i felt kind of bad after that. I mean, really...shockingly bad... Also not appreciating how hard she worked and it was really pleasing for me visually what she did before and during "Angel". I don't love the song too, but in my opinion she really nailed the performance...
Guys tell me, am i blind that maybe Ayu is really in really stupid shape now. I enjoy what she does and i agree that her current style is not sth i would find interesting if somebody introduced her to me now but I like her and for me she's been not only a performer/singer but simply i read her as a positive person. Maybe i also felt slightly bad for no reason. After all each of us have right to criticise anything we don't like.

Going against everything you said, I actually really love this concert. In fact I really don't watch ayu concerts, ever... I haven't loved a concert this much since My Story.
