No, I have not. This is the first time I have ever really been exposed to the term semiotics and we basically just touch on the generalized definitions within class and view many visual images that exhibit the theories as examples. Thank you for taking the time to read my analysis. I wasn't blown away by alterna when it was originally released, and felt it was highly over-rated (especially compared to her other rock tracks). However, over-time, alterna's uniqueness has made it stand out within her discography and I have all sorts of good feelings about the song now when I listen to it, which is quite often as a matter of fact.
