Ayaka and Mizushima Hiro are expecting their 1st child

It's been reported that actor Mizushima Hiro (30) and singer-songwriter Ayaka (27) are expecting their first child.

Through their agency, the couple announced, "We have been blessed with a new life." They revealed that Ayaka is currently 4 months pregnant and that she will continue her activities until next spring.

When the couple got married in 2009, they announced that Ayaka was ill with Grave's Disease. "Even after I made my comeback, I worked while putting my health first. During my doctor check-up at the end of last year, results showed that I was in stable condition," she explained, "That became a big opportunity for us to talk more about having a baby, and now, we have reached this very blissful moment."

Finally, they expressed, "Right now, we can only pray that this small life before us will grow healthily. We would be happy if you would please continue to watch over us warmly."
