@thinkingoutloud Hmmn cool. 2NE1's the only (recent) group I listen to that's not a rock band. They're also the only KPOP group I listen to. Anyways I didnt know that but that fact is cool. In this case I think only reason releases should take soooo long is do to concert tours and other such promotions.
@Isicio Just curious, but why is it you believe CL will not be successful? I personally admit, YES, I'm very excited for this album she's preparing. I loved her past solo work and am looking forward to more from her. Not to mention a chance to buy her new album in my own local store. Lately many of the American artist come backs I've been waiting on have let me down *cough* Gwen Stefani *cough* Kelly Clarkson *cough* and I could use something at the moment to bring back that excitement that's worth waiting for. Anyways, I've been reading many of the articles on CL's possible success and honestly, at least half a paragraph on each keeps repeating on how she's signed with Scooter Braun & I Am The Best has been on a few US radio stations etc. They tried using a similar tactic when BoA debuted in the US, writing all these things to pump everyone up. However in the end I really think it all depends on 2 major things in America: (1) proper promotion & (2) the common public's own personal opinion. CL hasn't let me down before, however, I'm not making my final judgement til I hear for myself what she'll be putting out. Still I find it exciting that she's trying this at all.
