So, pop music, and after that I will stop spamming this thread xD

I will divide this into 2 groups:

Acts that can be considered pop music acts all the way
Most music of those is so processed you can't really put them on a genre without them being all crafted to get heavy airplay. It would be pretty hard to actually point a genre they belong in other than pop.

Sandy & Junior - A Lenda/The Legend (Our biggest entirelly pop act ever, probably, they are the daughter and the son of Xororó from the sertanejo duo. At one time they were so big they tried an English debut, and it was an epic failure. Disbanded.)

Sandy - Sim/I do (Sandy is basically our Britney Spears without a breakdown. She was on the media very young, the country watched her growing up, she is basically Brazil's coletive good daughter, she isn't that much respected as a musician but she also refuses to let her career die)

Wanessa Camargo - Amor, amor/Love, love (If Sandy was Britney, Wanessa was Christina, but with vocal inverse abilities. Wanessa is the daugher of Zezé di Camargo, and if Sandy is at least respected as a vocalist and as a pop music force, Wanessa is pretty much a joke)

Wanessa - Sticky Dought (Or was until she took her last name way and started singing in English to please brazillian gay boys that wished they were born in the USA or England. Those niche aside, nobody really cares about her)

Roberto Carlos - Esse cara sou eu/This guy is me (Brazillian Elvis, without the drugs and with the same shitty quality control. He is called "The King" over here and from times to times releases a song that becomes a smash hit)

Gretchen - Conga La Conga (Probably the first brazillian POP act to ever exist, Gretchen lives nowadays from the controverse generated from her family, the hits from her first album and for being one of the most gif-able people alive... You guys may even have sawn of of her gifs being used as emotes in other forums. She did pretty much everything a person can do to stay relevant on media, from political career to porn movies)

Acts that oscilate from pop music to reginal genres
All of those were actually mentioned before... But they ARE considered popstars and a lot of their material can only be classified as pop music.

Ivete Sangalo

Claudia Leitte

Luan Santana

Gusttavo Lima
