I guess you should just watch the acoustic live performance of the song to make your own impression.

The English in the performance is indeed better than in the recording. Sadly, haha.
And I agree with you, Gustavopc. I mean, it's JPop we're talking about. Everybody should be at least used to it.
If you're liking it is another story.
With Namie though she seems to try to cater to a wider international audience. She's as well very inconsistent with her English, but from all the japanese artists she probably should be the one getting better, if she wants to continue her trend and really go international.
With the rest of the artists, it really doesn't matter, lol.
And if I think about it... even Ayu is speaking English better than she's singing it in her songs. Sometimes it even sounds she is singing the English in a more japanese way intentionally.
Sung language is just a b***, I guess.
