Also flights are not that cheap here. If I want direct flights they cost normally a minimum of 700€ (I try always to ger direct flights, because my ears always explode while landing and my experience with transfers have been very bad the last time) And I always need 2 flight tickets because I have a husband I travel with, so itīs minimum of 1400€ for the flight, and you also need a hotel and want to spend some money in Japan.
So please donīt judge others by your own standarts, thank you...

I am not judging anyone, just saying you are making it seem worse than it is. I too always travel with my partner so it's 2 x for me as well. We don't have direct flights from Belgrade so we always have to transfer. Still even if you have to transfer and save 200 EUR that's worth the time in my opinion. This will be my 4th time in Japan and I am really excited and can't wait to land ^_^ Those 15 hrs I spend on the airplane are really nothing compared to the excitement and the whole experience. Very much worth it~
Keep in mind I am nearly 2m tall and sitting in a very small seat is hell for me
Wherever you're travelling you'll need a place to stay and money to spend
I think us Europeans are quite lucky when it generally comes to the length of flights to different corners of the world. After all when you're crossing more than 10 000 kms you're not going to stay there for a day or so and get back...
