Ayu has always been really insightful on the topic of love, and I always find her lyrics regarding it pretty interesting.

Lol right. Ayu's talked about so much stuff over time. It's not like she's an expert on every aspect of life ever. But she is pretty insightful, emotional, wise, and aware from all that she has written over time. A song is born is still one of my favorites from her lyrically.

Love is a very big thing. And I think she's explored that in many ways so I can see people tiring of it. But it's probably just really relevant to her like it is to some other people.
Maybe one day she'll be inspired to make some intense social commentary about different things, although she has songs for women, etc. That'd be cool. But I don't necessarily expect it, especially if she wasn't well-versed on many things.
And I suppose she could be more creative in how she expresses things even in the same topics but to me, she already writes well (through translation) and it's probably better in Japanese.
Her situation is similar to one of my favorite rappers who catches crap for the creativity of his lyrics while praise from others. The praise comes from him being an amazing storyteller and extremely relatable and soulful, even if a bit corny at times. I feel the same way about ayu sometimes.
