Oh, you... you made my day.
I noticed that _generic was extremely narcissistic, but didn't want to say anything because, well... you know how Namie's fans think it's the best record she's made in years. Even if she somehow gets an extra birthday more than anyone else in the universe, and that she can somehow also be TLC while being Namie Amuro.

Moreover, albums like LOVEagain has not only songs about love. On LOVEagain there are 6 songs about love (and are differents types of love).
Colours: 6 (differents types)
Party Queen: 3 songs. (differents types)
A ONE: 6 (and one is a cover)

It's not that all artists talk about love stuff. It's that love, in some form or another, has comprised (even by your count) almost half or more than half of every one of her last several albums. The last truly non-love record she did was Rock'n'Roll Circus. So far, there's been Love songs, FIVE, LOVE, again, LOVE again, Colours, and A ONE. All of which are overwhelmed by songs about something wrong with or amazing about love and relationships.
It's great that she can find so many things to say about it, but I'd like something different for an album or two. Even if she just did a mini-album that had absolutely no love-themed songs on it, I would feel better about a full album afterward with a lot of love songs on it. And I think a lot of us would stop complaining. But so far she has done the following to "love":
* ridden,
* beaten,
* ridden again,
* beaten again,
* beaten to death,
* resurrected with black magic,
* ridden again,
* beaten to death again,
* risen from the dead once more,
* ridden once more,
* whipped to death,
* harassed and brutalized,
* resurrected by the power of Athena,
* ridden and beaten and ridden again in a single afternoon, and
* then hopped on the carcass and kicked it for not moving,
* hired someone to drag it around while she rode it so it would seem like it was still moving, and
* patched its deteriorating cadaver with nail polish and scraps from A DOME TOUR 2001 then hired someone to drag it around while she rode it so it would seem like it was still moving,
* refused psychiatric recommendations to give up on the carcass,
* shaken a fist at the universe for allowing "love" to be mortal by any means, even though everything else in existence has a finite life...
I love Ayu's love songs. It's just hard to appreciate a new song about love when we've had 32 new ones in a row. Something different for a release or two then she can go back and try to drag more use out of love.
