Barks English published/wrote a report 2 months back on BREAKERZ FREE LIVE which took place on 20th May at Tokyo's Yoyogi Park outdoor stage , on the same day when WE GO was released .
The report was written entirely in English in which I feel Barks English did a pretty good job in writing it .
6,000 people at free Yoyogi concert
Quote:
BREAKERZ played their first free outdoor concert at Tokyo Yoyogi Park stage on May 20. It was the signal fire of their complete restart.
The free concert was held on the day that “WE GO” was released and was BREAKERZ’ first show in two years and four months. 6,000 people gathered at 6:00pm regardless of the fact that it was a weekday.
The opening music started playing and SHINPEI, AKIHIDE, and DAIGO appeared on stage in order. The audience screamed out towards the blue sky. The opening music changed into their first song, “WE GO”, and the concert was underway.
“Everybody, we’re back!” DAIGO shouted. The crowd responded, “Welcome back!”, and the interaction between the fans and the artists began. DAIGO said, “Today is a our restart!” and BREAKERZ continued on with their set.
The audience showed their excitement during “Everlasting Luv” and “SUMMER PARTY”.
After the group members introduced themselves, they played “SHAKUNETSU” and “DESTROY CRASHER” and swung towels around their heads. The sun started to go down and the show came to a close.
“It is amazing how all of you came together for us to play this show. We want to move forward as a group once again. Please keep following us.” –DAIGO
DAIGO came on stage after the encore and addressed the crowd. The show was supposed to end there, but the fans chanted, “One more song!” BREAKERZ obliged and performed “WE GO” one more time. The free concert consisted of nine songs and lasted an hour and 15 minutes.
