Ayu is showing remarkable self-awareness here. These tracks all sound very well-executed, and they play to her strengths. Melodically they're MUCH better than most of what she's been releasing in recent years, too - I can actually remember how these songs go after listening to them XD
A ONE was perhaps a bit too "j-pop" and not QUITE "ayu specifically" enough, and this leans that way too, but it's certainly progressing in the right direction.
Good variety of material on this mini-album, too. I'm REALLY glad I pre-ordered two versions, honestly... I feel like this one deserves my money XD If the previews sucked, I'd have canceled one of them probably.
