[Kacku]

This album is... weak. cocoon is EVERYTHING, Eclipse is really good (go moumoon ballads!), the single tracks (I'm Scarlet and Hello, shooting-star) and Never look back are nice, but the rest is anything between meh and offensively bad. Cut for negativity.

I dislike the title track more every time I hear it, who okayed this terrible song for release? The instrumental sounds lazy and annoying and IT GOES NOWHERE. Fight Back is a joke. "It's time to fight back / We're the resistance", Yuka sings in her most dispassionate voice, clashing with the lyrics like woah. I also dislike the instrumental in this song a bit, the very prominent bass just doesn't sound pretty to me. The bridge was really nice and I liked that the vocals sounded a bit different than usually (Masaki doing back-up vocals?), but the good was unfortunately drowned out. :|

But at least this album gave us cocoon, definitely one of my favourite songs this year. Here's hoping for more songs like it!
