In the other case people download videos/songs just to watch/listen to them. No one here would claim having composed or sung those songs and sell them as their own to make money out of it.
Stealing intellectual property and downloading piracy are two completely different issues.

Though the real money in the music industry comes some song writing. If ayu only sang songs she was given she would be paid very little compared to songs she wrote. The real money in it, ayu has already taken care off. Making most of her songs except her covers, makes them her intellectual property
Its just how the music industry works. Composers get their share but the real money comes from writing your own songs.
