Story time! Last night, I was at a barbeque night we, the language students' guild at my university, had arranged for our new freshmen. Halfway through the night, a whole bunch (~15) of visiting Japanese students showed up to do some socialising of their own. I went to talk to them, eager to try out my limited Japanese skills. I ended up chatting for a while with one girl, and we bonded over liking miwa, she was way more excited about miwa than any other artist I said I liked.
Her favourite song was 441, I named Delight and Hikari e as mine, we both agreed we had made good picks. It was nice.
