I think she is more connected with herself than before. Like she said in an interview last time. First she thought she kept evolving and was focussing on personal growth, but now she noticed after all those years that it's just the same her. That makes her be herself more than ever.

Really, I hate when a fan think "I'm her fan, I buy her music, I have all the rights to say bad things to her"

It's not normally that if she doesn't tweet about her husband SHE IS DIVORCING, and if she tweets SHE IS DIVORCING. Take care of your life please or maybe you need one.
Well I read some of those tweets and the one I read were really rude. The words they use... And when they got blocked hell broke loose...

I actually get the sense her Japanese fans don't understand her as the complex individual that she is and still expect her to follow certain conventions, even though she's far removed from the society at large. She has a peculiar way of expressing herself and it's like her Japanese fans are unable to accept certain things about her persona, her "otherness."
This!!! One of the best posts ever!!! It's not only to do with the Japanese fans. It's to do with the group culture. People don't respect you not see you as an individual. You have to be part of the group. And if you are not, you get bullied.
