The concert report has been translated to English

Spoiler:
2015 marks 15 amazing years in music for Koda Kumi. On December 6th was the debut of "KODA KUMI 15th Anniversary LIVE The Artist", which is the final event.

This time 15 years ago, Koda Kumi made her debut with her single "TAKE BACK". The venue, which was specifically chosen as it was celebrating its 15th year, was none other than Saitama Super Arena. 15,000 people from all over Japan gathered for this special live event, where Koda presented a moving concert full of tear-inducing moments in front of the fans.

Her new song "NO ME WITHOUT YOU" was the jewel in the crown. With the words "I'm here, because of you", Koda used this as a platform to send a heartfelt message of appreciation to the fans that have continually supported her. The fans were visibly moved to tears. Her reasons for choosing this track as an opener, in her own words, were: "I wanted to sing this song first, as I wanted to emotionally connect my feelings to the fans"

This event was made up of entertainment, vocals and dance. These 3 key words were essential in explaining the artist herself, and created a befitting platform for an anniversary gig. Her attire ranged from on-trend trouser-suits to military style outfits, with an overall count of ten essential dresses. The venue continued to be mesmerised until the end. Koda showcased an impressive dance performance, and a breathtaking gem of a ballad, sometimes flashing a smile, and sometimes showing her tears.

For the encore, she kicked off with her debut song "TAKE BACK ".

"To all those who dream big, I present you with this song. Please listen!"

With these final words, she introduced "walk", her staple last number. She recorded this track for her first album, a series of songs that Koda continues to sing in hard times and in good.

She showcased 15 years' worth of appreciation, and expressed her heartfelt desire for all of her staff members and every single one of her fans wishes to come true:

"It's been 15 years since my debut. I never thought I would be able to sing for this long, and I really want to show you my appreciation. Thank you so much.
At the time of my debut, nobody could remember my name. It was a time where I really worried how to present myself as a person.

The debut was not my calling, and I made desperate efforts to work as hard as I could. There were also times when I was discouraged, but it was down to you that I made it. Because you were there, I am now blessed with this moment. I was able to work hard because of you.

It's due to my highly supportive fans, family, friends, and staff members that I was able to laugh in tough times, remain positive and work hard.

I wanted to see the view from the stage, and before I realised it, 15 years had passed. Even now, I hope people continue to smile and grow through listening to my songs, and continue to sing them."

Koda also announced a 47 date nationwide tour for 2016 for the first time. Having been trying many new things with all she've got, her songs will definitely encourage people to keep going on.

Koda, who celebrated 15 years in showbiz, will release her ballad collaboration album entitled "WINTER of LOVE", which happens to be the first release of 2016. Don't miss her 17 song ballad compilation full of gems, including her new track "On And On" as well as "NO ME WITHOUT YOU" that she premiered at the gig.
