Have you ever seen that documentary that was released like, 10 or so years ago about her? It went into some detail on this. She was pissed that A BEST was being forced on her without her input, and because "best" albums (to her) meant someone had reached their peak. That sounds an awful lot like someone who
didn't want an album to exist (note the tense).
I already explained my disappointment and lack of interest in this release. You don't have to agree with my thoughts to know that.
At the very least, it's nice that they're remastering the songs! There's a few ASFXX and Duty tracks that might benefit greatly from that treatment.
