Although the album was forced on her, she was still able to mold it into a vision. She might have not felt it was the right time to pursue such a release, but due to a chain of events that seemed beyond her control, she was able to force as much "control" out of herself as she could. I think after all has been said and done, she looks back on the album, it's voice, and the message behind it, unable to imagine it culminating differently. I mean, it practically shaped her existence from that point forward; a blessing in disguise!
It's VERY Hamasaki Ayumi, and she was able to achieve a different tone, a more "established" and "glorified" BEST, with it's successor A BEST 2, and to an even greater extent, with A COMPLETE.
