Namie will always have the same idol dancing style, with the same hair and outfits with different colors, but with great songs and props, making the concerts fresh and new. This is her thing and that's what her fans like. She's good in her own way.
Ayu will always have the overdramatic performances, with more dancers than the whole crew to build the stage itself, with songs with lyrics that connect with her audience and with her life. Her broadway style is established as her main way of doing concerts, and that's what her audience like.

Exactly. As a fan of both artists myself, I tend to expect completely different things from their concerts. I don't expect Namie to start doing those grand dramatic performances, and I don't expect Ayu to do more dance based performances with that "idol feeling" (I like the description you used). Their concert styles fit them, and it would be kinda awkward if they were to change and do what the other does, in either case.

I agree with not opening the concert with GREEN, though not because I dislike the song, I love it, but simply because it's not a good opening song imo. As much as I love GREEN, it's boring for a concert opening. I didn't like it as an opening on PCDL, an I didn't like it again on MADE IN TOKYO...
