That made me remember those days when Party queen was released. I thought that Party Queen was a terrible album, but listening to it again I can remember why I loved it back them. The production and mastering are great, you can tell it took time to produce it, not like Love again. Besides that, songs flow smoothly and the concept of that lonely queen passing from refusing and hiding her pain, to being sarcastic and openly wounded, is really touching.
I think that the main problem to empathize with that album is how you deal with the title, you expect a fun and danceable album, and at the end you get only 3 dance songs. Maybe if the album were named Lonely Queen or Party Queen?, people wouldn't be surprised by that party songs lack.
