DAIGO announced on April 6th that he has been selected to be the new TV commercial character for children's backpack "Tenshi no Hane (天使のはね)".
DAIGO will be celebrating his 38th birthday on April 8th, and on April 29th he will be holding his wedding ceremony with actress Kitagawa Keiko in Tokyo, making April a month full of happy celebrations for him.
The new CM will start airing on May 2nd, and on the TV commercial DAIGO will be dressed up as an angel.
"The MC (Miracle Collaboration) between a rock musician and backpack is a historical achievement!" DAIGO commented.
