Sakurai Sho has been appointed as NTV's Olympics newscaster for the 5th time. He was the main newscaster for Beijing and London Olympics, and the special newscaster for Vancouver and Sochi Olympics.
With Akashiya Sanma and Ueda Shinya as the supporters, he will be reporting from Rio, Brazil from August 8 until August 19.
(TRIVIA: Sakurai Sho holds the record as the youngest ever sent to Olympics as NTV's main newscaster. It's in 2008, around 2 years since his career as a newscaster began.)
