The new single is out! Somehow I got confused with another release date and thought it would be out at the end of the month.

Anyway, it was supposed to be released at the 8th but got postponed to the 15th. It debuted at Oricon at no. 14 with 5615 copies sold.

Regarding the meaning behind the title Heide, I found the following at a tumblr blog:

In the 690min Nico Nico Livebroadcast on 2016/06/09-10 they had a little interview segment about Heide, the new single.

Tatsurou explained that what with the lyrics of the song, they wanted to call the song Erica - from the flower, because of flower language. But that sounded too much like a person’s name so they looked to how that flower was called in different languages: Heath in English, Heide in German - so ハイデ it was.

From different sites about japanese flower language I found the following meanings:
site 1 - Solitude
site 2 - Enticement
site 3 - Philanthropy, Solitude, Desolation, Betrayal

They also played a little preview of the song with footage from the Dappe Festival (the PV is not finished yet) and the mood does fit solitude imo.

They also apologized for the delay of releasing it, but apart from “recording took longer” and “other things”, they did not give a reason for it

Furthermore they just posted at their fb, together with a commen from YUKKE, that the new song (Heide I guess?) will be the theme song for an anime called "Nanatsu no Taizai: Seisen no Shirushi":

Hello, this is YUKKE, the bassist of MUCC!
I personally love anime so much that I often think about my own top 10 favorite anime characters. So, when we were chosen to do the opening theme, I couldn't stop dancing from joy! With such excitement, we also felt strong responsibility and confidence to do our best as we made the song and did the recording.

I haven't listened to the whole single yet, just to Heide, because I'm translating it right now. I think the music works very well with the lyrics and is quite beautiful. I would love to find a link for the PV but I guess it isn't up yet.
I have to go to university now and will listen to the other songs on my way.
