Sad quality doesn't always translate to sales. After visiting Japan and seeing the massive droves of ayu fans in the flesh, I am very optimistic about the longevity of her career. I mean I saw Matsuda Seiko promo all over the place and her career is no doubt older than I am. So I'm not worried about Oricon sales.
