I would agree with you that she has her own style of music but it is because of her influencers that she makes the music she makes today. It's a mix of artists she loves and also her own personal creativity.
I also agree that this song isn't particularly special. While I like it, I don't love it. I haven't been a Lady Gaga fan for years but like you too, I was anticipating this release.
