I'm honestly not surprised. I mean, he has a life and a family half-way across the world, he has his own career to think of and he doesn't speak Japanese. It must have been a difficult situation for him, spending all that time in Japan, while he was supporting Ayu.
I hope she can use these emotions to create even better music. In the end she's not alone, she has a ton of fans who love her.
A part of me wants to see her with Gackt now. Hah
