I see this often as well. I would have to agree that her vocals were good here. More consistent. I see a lot of people say that 2007-2008 is her worst, and that I don't see at all.
I think Ayu has both good and bad performances each and every year. I don't really see good or bad times.
The Memorial address performance for Rock n Roll Circus is a favorite of mine. I like when Ayu uses her power vocals.
