And sometimes it does not fit the whole concept. tbqh, as a huge Namie fan, I found both PVs medicore at best and I'm over the CGI stuff. It was okay in this case, cause they are title tracks for two CGI-movies and they fit her overall style of being "cool", but something simple like Love Story would be okay for me too.
That said, Namie rarely has awsome PVs and I stopped demanding them years ago. A good choreo is all i need.

I feel kinda the same. Those CGI PVs feels less personal to me... Because Ayu's PVs are pretty boring indeed but I feel like she put some effort and time to really think about them and express how she feels about the song. Namie's PVs feels for me like it was created and produced by her team and she have no attach to it... But the CGI is pretty impressive for its quality!
