I feel like I talk about this nonstop, and I've described the song and their corresponding "perfect" moments, broken down to damn near temperature levels. But the one that sits atop the snow sculpture, is "No way to say."

I finally was able to listen to No way to say the other morning. I had to wait until the snow blanketed the the ground and my entire surroundings, and it needed to be falling heavily simutaneously, and it needed to be dark outside (evening time). I was getting impatient and almost settled for flurries to break it out but I knew it would ruin the impact of it if I did that. I waited all year long, was haunted by the anticipation of that moment in my dreams going on 7 months, so I figured I could wait a little longer.

Last week I woke up at 6:15am, glanced outside between my blinds and thought I saw the pavement and said to myself "I thought last night's light snow would have accumulated by now." I pulled open the blinds and gasped, for it was as if someone had just shaken up the snowglobe and I was located in the middle of it. I threw my clothes on, grabbed my cigarettes, and rushed outside, as it was still pitch black out, into that glorious winter wonderland. This was it. This was the moment. The time for me to relive once again this glorious dream of mine that I look forward to making reality every Christmas season. To not only listen to the song, but to live within it.

Let's just say I was not disappointed. That moment means so much to me, practically every time I'm able to relive it again I'm pushed the brink of tears. And as a bonus, this year was the first year I was able to follow the entire chorus and comprehend what was being said as it was spoken since I began learning Japanese two years ago.
