I'm currently listening to spotifys "Secret Genius" playlist with Charli XCX, where she is talking about writing for Rihanna and she was like "It was so cool. She was there (in the session) and said things like "I would never say that" or "make the song more this vibe" and it is a really bad assumption that big pop artist are not involved in their records and just get songs pitched"
- it reminded me of Namie (and Jolin) who are always viewed like they wouldn't work for their music.
