It's good if you are looking for DJs, but not so much for regular Japanese artists.
Easiest way to do it is to simply visit the websites of all the artists you like and see if they have any tour announcements yet.
Over a six month period any artist that you like is almost guaranteed to be playing at some point in that timespan.
