On the other hand Namie has a vast trayectory, probably she has fulfilled most of her wishes regarding on producing music but also -and not less important- she is pissed off at Tokyo 2020 comittee or Avex for doing this shade on her and she quit mainly because a lack of motivation (she doesn't have much else to do when she has done practically everything, artistically talking).

I doubt the 2020 Olympics had anything to do with it. I can't see her going, oh, I don't get to perform at the Olympics? I'm retiring. I honestly don't have high expectations for who will be performing anyways given that it's AKB48's producer who is doing the opening ceremony (closing as well?)
Honestly, I just don't think she was ever as passionate about music and performing as say someone like Ayumi is. She's 40 years old. She's been performing non-stop since she was in her early teens and she probably wants to go out while she's still on top.
Now because of this though, I really selfishly hope Ayu doesn't retire. They are my two main jpop loves.

I'm sure it's because they want to release a complete PV collection at another time. Separate releases equals more money. This is Avex we're talking about here.
