After Music Station aired around two weeks ago? (Last week? I can't remember) they were counting down the best selling artists per decade, and until 2010 Ayu was #1, and then they did it for this current decade where AKB had just edged Ayu out. And twitter was like "so... what you mean to say is, Ayu is still number one." Lol
Unsurprisingly Oricon hasn't reported that arrest, despite every other news source doing so.
