Taichi Mukai is a singer-songwriter from Fukuoka, born 1992/3/13.
Coming to Tokyo in 2010 after graduating from school, he joined a Funk/Jazz band as a vocalist to get first experience. He went solo in 2013 and released his first EP called POOL in March 2016, still Indie at that time.
Shortly after he signed with TOY'S FACTORY/MIYA TERRACE and started to publish his music through Soundcloud from April 2016 onwards as well as doing his first major releases.
Like that he gradually built a small following as well as getting attention from the Japanese public and abroad.
His first album called BLUE is scheduled to be released on November 29th.
In course of that he deleted all his original songs from his Soundcloud.
He writes all of his lyrics and music himself, usually supported by fellow artists and producers from Japan and LA.
Calling himself a "hybrid artist" and his music being genreless, he's mainly influenced by Black music, Electronica, Alternative, Ambient and Jazz.
