Namie's goodbye translated from the first show at Nagoya.

“Thank you very much for coming to see the concert today! I announced in September of last year that I would retire on September 16th this year. (Audience member shouts something) Thank you. There have truly been a lot of things that have happened over the past 25 years. Both good and sad things, like getting married~ and divorced~ (laughs). At times I’ve felt like my life was like a roller coaster and I felt choked up with sadness, but then I would always get to see you all at my concerts and I gained a lot of strength through that. I will do my best from here on out. These last 25 years were wonderful and have become very precious to me. Thank you very much. I’m very lucky to have met you in the 25 years of my life I’ve devoted to this. It may be impossible after it all to find something that gives me this same kind of passion, but that’s why these 25 years have become the most special memories in my life. Of course, I was only able to welcome the first day of my tour today like this because of all the staff who has been supporting me, the cooperation of all the dancers who dance on stage with me and of course all my fans. I really and truly appreciate every one of you!!! Thank you so much!!! Today I want to end the concert with lots of smiles from both me and you all! Thank you for 25 years! Everyone take care of yourselves!!! Bye bye!!”
