She sold exactly what her first day needed to be. Her numbers didn't dip much from W Face ~Outside~, which is a good sign leading up to DNA. In regards to her most likely charting at #3, meh. She has 11 #1 albums and is a legit icon. #1 albums at this point in her life are just sprinkles on top of an already delicious sundae.
That said, I'm always slightly amused that a few of you still expect Koda to be immune to the norms of Female J-Pop. Given how Japan is still firmly in the grip of idol fever, the fact that she can still chart well and move a large amount of live tickets is a testament to the hard work she put into her career during her 2005 to 2009 prime.
Looking forward to the tour goods. I'm curious to see what she comes up with after the great stuff for W Face
