I personally don't think Ayu looks like a women trying to be young. I think Ayu will always be a youthful person, it's just who she is. I sometimes don't like her fashion and sometimes an outfit or costume may be unflattering but I don't get mid-life crisis vibes. Sometimes I think she gets a bit pose-y but most people get like that with selfies IMO. She looks so good in the shot with the comedian though! I don't get how people see "trying too hard" there.
