^ Yeah, I was surprised it was only a VTR message and a clip of Summer Splash! from the 2013 National Stadium live (the 'old' National Stadium, that is).
With that said, other than the two-hour MSte special next week, that's it for multi-hour televised music specials (TV Tokyo Ongakusai, NTV Music Day, TBS Ongaku no Hi, FNS Uta no Natsu Matsuri; why no TV Asahi equivalent on this period aside from the September MSte Ultra Fes???)...and now we move on to the multi-day outdoor music festival season, starting with Fuji Rock and Rising Sun Rock festivals (and, of course, the Rock in Japan Fes and Summer Sonic later in August)! And I heard the Fuji Rock festival is being streamed on YouTube worldwide! :O
