I just listened to the reverse order while re-reading the lyrics and I agree.
How I see it-
Jacket A: starting with We are the Queens feels like she has her guard up while ending with The way I am shows a growth towards the acceptance that some will abandon her but she will always be here for them.
And with the contrast of jacket B: she starts off with this soft and a bit vulnerable persona, which by the end evolves to become stronger and aggressive.
The determination theme that you mentioned is definitely there and it's very interesting to see the two different ways she created to show it.
