Bumped up this Britney thread, because I went to see her yesterday in Mönchengladbach, Germany. The venue was smaller than I thought, but it was packed! We (my best friend and I) stood in the lines for ages, but still managed somehow to drink two cocktails, eat, go to the loo and buy merch, without missing the opening act Pitbull (oh yes.. he is alive too) Normally, I really don't drink, so after these two cups and in my new Piece of Me Tour-shirt, let's say I was very ready for Britney to perform! 45 min later, the show finally started and I had good spot on the stage.

She performed all of her biggest hits, and all up tempo songs. Only Toxic's beginning was ballady, turning into the original uptempo after the first chorus. I didn't recognize some of the newer songs, except Make Me... Britney wore the same outfit (some black lingery body suit) with sometimes a mixed up with a short skirt or coat. Damn, she looks really fine, and no surprises that she began the tour with Work Bitch. She dances to each of her songs, without singing a note live. Literally, she playbacked the entire show, her microphone only went on to thank an audience guy that got whipped during Freakshow or to say goodbye to us. She doesn't also really cover up the fact she didn't sing live, but even though that sounds like a disappointment (or a meeted expectation when you go to see Britney), her energy is amazing so nobody does really care about the playback. Plus, Britney danced really good. Me and my friend danced and sang along with the hits and we had a great time. After the show we got compliments (or maybe annoyed sneers, but we like to think that the crowd we stood in were nice people) for our dancing.

Seriously, best night of 2018!
