I think Okinawa is doing all this not only to honor Namie, but also because they see it as a chance to profit from all the tourism she brings in. And omg. It definitely would've been so sad if she ended her career with Uncontrolled lmao. We would've never gotten Alive... or Mint. Or the visually-stunning genic era + its amazing tour.
