This part is very relatable to almost everyone working in the creative industry. I kinda recognize here feelings when it comes to my own work - illustrations and/or costumes. Art (and teaching it) has become so much of a work to me as well, that I start lacking fun to go to these artistic events etc.
To go back to Ayu, maybe this is also why she isn't working on new music.
Call it a block or whatever, but perhaps she finds it difficult to release something, constantly thinking it is not good enough.
And also not listening to music in general. We all know Ayu flows her own way, but not hearing music, also means - kinda shutting off for new inspiration? Just a thought.
