Japanese artistes are still very confined if not content to tour within Japan
There must be certain pull factors for them perform outside of Japan & most of the time whenever that happens they always seem genuinely surprised to find out that people know who they're & also their music
This year is Mr. Children's 30th anniversary and yet they took them so long to perform outside of Japan at the beginning of 2019 for the 1st time
While 3 years ago it was Yuzu's 1st time to perform outside of Japan in line with their 20th anniversary
They're not like hyde where he has the foresight/knowledge that it's important to tour outside of Japan
That's why for hyde's latest solo album ANTI , the way he promoted the album , it was very Westernised & not methods that typical Japanese artistes would utilise
