Arashi and Yonezu Kenshi to Debut Collaboration Song on 70th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen

Arashi and Yonezu Kenshi have collaborated on a new song titled “Kite.” The song serves as the “NHK 2020 Song”, which is a support song for the younger generation in the year of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Arashi will debut the Kenshi creation “Kite” at the 70th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen. After that, it will be used for various NHK programmes and services, including its sports programs.
Arashi member Aiba Masaki said that he is honoured to collaborate with Kenshi. He added that he will sing “Kite” with all his heart to so that he can inspire the Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as Japan as a whole.
Kenshi said that he is honoured to work with Arashi in their final year. He said that he made “Kite” in Hope’s that it would stand the test of time. He hopes that the song reaches everyone.
