I also have a question... There's another where she's very emotional after singing and analyzing the song. Why is that?

Hirose admitted she was very serious about music, but couldn't be that serious about school, so it worried her parents. She realized just how lucky and thankful she is to be able to make music that people enjoy, and got emotional thinking about how much the people around her worried about her (out of love), and how she wanted to be an example to those who were like her (and inadvertently, Ayu): those who don't really care for school, but can get serious about their music or art.
