Yamashita Tomohisa has left Johnny's & Associates

It's been announced that Yamashita Tomohisa left Johnny's & Associates on October 31.
According to an announcement on Johnny's net, Yamashita wanted to take his career overseas so Johnny's & Associates had worked on creating an environment that would make it easier for him to carry out his activities abroad. However, he decided to leave the agency as he wanted to shift his career overseas in full scale and participate in a work that has been offered to him. The contract was terminated on mutual agreement.
Yamashita made his CD debut as a member of Johnny's group NEWS in November of 2003. In addition to his group activities, he carried out solo activities as well as activities in Shuji to Akira, a unit with Kamenashi Kazuya (KAT-TUN).
After withdrawing from NEWS in October of 2011, he mainly focused on his solo work. He was part of the main cast of the Hulu drama 'THE HEAD' which began its broadcast in June. He was also supposed to release the album "SI" with Kamenashi under the name Kame to Yamapi in April, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A bit dejavu that Kame to Yamapi & NEWS' tours were cancelled and both Tegoshi + Yamapi eventually left o_O
