I love this piano (and orchestra in ayu-mi-x 4+) version of Dearest because her voice is smoother than the Original Mix (makes me like the song a lot better to be honest).

definitely. especially with her deteriorated hearing, it makes sense that she would seek professional help for techniques to safeguard this precious asset.
like, even before she went half-deaf, the very strength of her vocal was incredible. there is no way she could have belted out songs all shouty and screamy for two+ entire hours in her nationwide tours without having learnt some professional techniques.
