L'Arc-en-Ciel's new song "FOREVER" has been picked up as the opening theme for TV anime 'EDENS ZERO.'
On July 2, a "mysterious crest" took over the icon of the band's social media accounts. It turns out that this was a part of the logo for 'EDENS ZERO.'
Based on a manga of the same title by Mashima Hiro, the anime will tell the story of a young boy named Shiki, who lives among robots on a planet called Granbell. One day, a girl named Rebecca and her cat Happy visit Granbell becoming the planet's first visitors in 100 years. Shiki meets Rebecca and Happy, then sets out on an adventure beyond the planet.
"FOREVER" is said to be a song that matches the anime's worldview and will give you a premonition of a grand adventure. tetsuya (B), who composed the song, commented, "'FOREVER' is our next release after 'Mirai' during the band's 30th anniversary year. It means for eternity, to continue.

Wouldn't surprise me if FOREVER is like Mirai in that a song they worked on years ago but only now they decided to release it
So tetsuya more or less hinted FOREVER would be released after Mirai which probably will happen before year end
