Aiba Masaki to star in his first horror film

It's been revealed that Aiba Masaki (Arashi) has landed the lead role in the upcoming horror film 'Sore ga Iru Mori' to open in theaters on September 30.
'Sore ga Iru Mori' is described to be horror entertainment of the new era as portrayed by Nakata Hideo, the director of 'The Ring' and 'Jiko Bukken: Kowai Madori.' It's set in a forest where many strange and mysterious phenomenon take place. Based on witness reports about "that," the protagonist Tanaka Junichi and others set out to encounter the unidentifiable "that" and experience unknown fear.
It's been about 8 years since Aiba starred in his last film, 'MIRACLE: Debikuro-kun no Koi to Mahou.' This will be the first time for him to appear in a horror film.
